Get ready for Motherhood with FIT4BABY Prenatal Fitness!

FIT4BABY is a workout program designed specifically for moms-to-be. It includes cardio, strength training, balance, flexibility, and core exercises to accommodate all trimesters of pregnancy. This 6-week program includes community-based workouts, weekly challenges, a private group, and a weekly journal to document your fitness journey. FIT4BABY will build your endurance, strengthen your body and prepare you for pregnancy, birth, and beyond.


What is included in the program?

✔ One 60 minute in-person group workout per week that is safe for mama and baby
✔ Weekly virtual educational classes that focus on various aspects of pregnancy.
✔ A Bump Book Journal to document your fitness and pregnancy journey
✔ Weekly focused themes, at-home challenges, conversations & tips

SESSION DETAILS

STARTING JUNE 4TH

When: Saturdays at 9 am (in-person workout) and Wednesdays at 8 pm (virtual educational class)
Where: Ft. Trumbull State Park - New London
Cost: $169 - includes a resistance band and a 4-pack of Stroller classes ($80 value!)

A message from Rachel

I am so excited to be the instructor for FIT4BABY. I wanted to give a quick intro and provide some information on what you can expect in classes. A bit about me: My name is Rachel Beckmann, and I am a local pelvic health physical therapist. I was in the Coast Guard and graduated from the US Coast Guard Academy in my previous life. I am mom to 4-year-old Sydney and 1-year-old Beckett. I joined Stroller Strides in 2020 after having my son, and I will forever be grateful for the lifeline it offered during such a challenging time. Most importantly, I love to exercise, movement, and their physical and mental health benefits. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I can’t wait to learn from you and share my knowledge to help you have an empowered pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

WHAT TO EXPECT: During FIT4BABY, you can expect some challenging but safe workouts with modifications for all stages of pregnancy. During workouts, we will not only train your body; we will train your mind for the exciting journey of birth and motherhood. Each week will have a theme, and you will receive information related to an aspect of pregnancy health. I will also host weekly evening virtual meetings to provide education related to various aspects of pregnancy and postpartum. I am open to group input on topics, but I plan on discussing your pelvic floor, diastasis recti, leakage, nutrition, and so much more. In addition, you will be wrapped in the warm embrace of your fellow mommas and be part of a network of strong and determined women. I am seriously so excited! I can’t wait to see you all out there.
